We all know that February 1, 2011 is Global Soul – and we’re all really looking forward to it! And so is the City of Los Angeles. Thanks to Councilmembers Koretz and Krekorian, February 1, 2011 has officially been declared to be “Janice Kamenir-Reznik Day” by the City of Los Angeles! 25 JWW activists, including members of the Congolese and Armenian communities of Los Angeles, joined Janice and JWW at City Hall on Friday, January 28, when the LA City Council read the Resolution during that day’s session.
