On July 30, 2012, JWW colleague Operation Broken Silence CEO Mark Hackett will testify to U.S. Congressional Sudan Caucus members concerning their recent assessment trip to Sudan’s Nuba Mountains. With hundreds of thousands of lives now hanging by a thread after a full year of no humanitarian aid delivery, this may be our last major opportunity to advocate for a large-scale aid operation that could halt the spreading catastrophe. Without such an operation, hundreds of thousands will perish.
That’s where you come in. We need to ensure that as many Congressional representatives as possible attend this important hearing to learn the truth of the crimes being committed in the Nuba Mountains and what they must do to help end them.
