Hundreds of JWW activists and theater-goers joined JWW on Tuesday, October 5 for the Geffen Playhouse’s production of Ruined, a powerful portrayal of the triumph of the human spirit in war-torn Congo. JWW activists were treated to a special VIP dinner honoring Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage with JWW’s fourth annual iWitness Award. Audience members joined the cast, Ms. Nottage, JWW Co-Founder and President Janice Kamenir-Reznik and Executive Director Tzivia Schwartz Getzug for a fascinating Talk-Back following the performance.
