  Teaching / Curricular Opportunities

As part of JWW's commitment to educating the community about genocide and the current crisis in Darfur, JWW has created a variety of lesson plans and activities to be implemented in both formal and informal educational environments.

Activist Certification and Training: ACT is JWW's Activism Certification and Training program. Through this program, young people can earn certification as official Youth Activists by learning the skills of education, advocacy, and refugee relief first-hand.

JWW Lesson Plans: Suitable for students at all levels, beginning with the 3rd grade, these more formal lesson plans are well suited to classroom environments.

JWW Activities: Our more informal JWW activities can be easily implemented inside or outside the classroom for the benefit of students of all ages from 3rd grade and up.

Just as we commit to educating our own community about the genocide in Darfur, so is JWW dedicated to ensuring Darfuri refugee children are able to continue their own education.
